Chandrakanta book  is a well known Hindi novel by Devaki Nandan Khatri  in 1888. It is thought to be the principal work of writing in the present day Hindi dialect, and may have altogether added to the dialect's prominence.. The novel was extremely popular and is said by many to read through it, learned Devanagari. This was a historic book, which had played a significant role in popularizing Hindi in it's Devnagri font during 1880's.
• Babu Devakinandan Khatri created many twists and turns in his story. Such a wonderful imagination and narration.the serial chandrakanta was made in 1990 ,= on the chandra kanta novel. but due to fianacial crisis the serial was incompleted.
